Rudy Oldeschulte provides psychoanalytic consultation and therapy.
I trained in psychoanalysis, psychoanalytic psychotherapy, and child and adolescent development with Anna Freud at the Hampstead Clinic in London – a five year research and clinical program. (Now The Anna Freud Centre). My clinical practice has included individual psychotherapy with children, adolescents, and adults, consultation to psychiatric hospitals, and provison of post residency supervision to residents and interns.
Recruited to the medical school in Tucson, Arizona, following my training, I taught and supervised in psychiatry and psychology, teaching psychotherapeutic technique, diagnostic classification, and developmental theory. I also supervised the evaluative work at the local domestic violence shelter and the Native American reservation. Teaching at several national and international institutes, including the British Association of Psychotherapists, I enjoyed teaching a wide range of experiences at all levels of education. As one of the founding faculty members (and Chairman) of the Southwest Center for Psychoanalytic Studies (Arizona), we formed a training group and Center to provide psychotherapeutic training for therapists throughout Arizona.
